Terms of Service

Terms of Service

Last updated: July 31, 2026.

1. Who you're contracting with

Desk ("the Service") is operated by Miguel Rodriguez, a sole trader trading as "Desk by Leroi" ("we", "us"). By creating an account or continuing to use the Service you agree to these terms. You confirm you are of legal age and, if you sign up on behalf of an organisation, that you have authority to bind it.

2. Using Desk

Desk is a personal productivity and accountability tool. You are responsible for the content you enter (tasks, names, chat messages) and for keeping your account credentials confidential.

3. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the Service. In particular, no unlawful use, fraud or spam, infringement of anyone's intellectual property, harassment or abusive content, and no interference with security — including malware, probing, scraping, reverse engineering, resale or circumventing technical limits.

4. Intellectual property

We retain all ownership of the Service and its intellectual property, including the software, design, documentation and branding. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within your selected plan. You keep ownership of the content you submit and grant us a limited licence to host and process it solely to provide the Service.

5. Plans, payment and subscriptions

Desk is free to use. Desk Pro is a paid subscription billed at $8/month or $64/year, renewing automatically until cancelled. You can cancel any time from your dashboard or the customer portal; access continues until the end of the paid period. Prices are shown before checkout and applicable taxes are calculated at checkout.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms.

6. Refunds

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. Full details and how to request a refund are in our Refund Policy.

7. No warranty

The Service is provided "as is". We don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance, data preservation, or fitness for any particular purpose, and we disclaim all implied warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim, and we exclude indirect or consequential loss (including lost profits, data or goodwill). Nothing limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence.

9. Community conduct

Live coworking rooms and chat exist to help people focus together. Harassment, spam or abusive content may result in removal of content or termination of your account.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated policy violations. You can delete your account at any time from your dashboard, which permanently removes your data.

11. Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of the seller's place of residence, and disputes are subject to the courts there. We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected on this page.
